1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using One Thing (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with these terms and the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA), which is incorporated by reference.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the App;
- use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any law;
- attempt to circumvent security or interfere with the App's operation.
4. Your content
Everything you enter into One Thing — your tasks, reflections, and history — is yours. It is stored on your device and, if enabled, in your own iCloud account. We do not claim ownership of it and, as described in our Privacy Policy, we do not have access to it.
5. Purchases and tips
The App is free to use. It may offer optional in-app purchases (such as tips or premium themes) processed by Apple through the App Store. All purchases are final and handled under Apple's terms; refunds, where available, are managed by Apple. Prices may change.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. One Thing is a productivity aid and is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or professional advice. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost — please keep iCloud backups enabled.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, One Thing and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Changes to the App and terms
We may update, change, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We may also revise these Terms; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence to the extent required, and otherwise by generally applicable principles, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have.
